The MSi 200 Series offers Auto-Sensing, Full Duplex, 10/100 T Base RJ45 connection with Plug and Play compatibility, and optionally a 100 Base FX Fiber Optic Channel. The units have a fully Switched High Performance engine providing forwarding and filtering of packets at full wire speed. They also provide 2MB of packet buffering for overloaded network situations.

The self-learning Ethernet Switch uses MAC addresses and supports Unlimited Broadcast, Multicast up to 16K, Unicast, VPN and VLAN tagging. The units have Automatic Address Aging and a Reset Button allowing memory clearing of internal buffers and Ethernet addresses allowing reconfiguration to the network at any time.

The MSi 200 is a LAN/WAN only interface. It contains Auto Diagnostic Indicators displaying Connectivity to the Network, FD or HD, Auto-Negotiation 10/100, Radio Links, Collision and TX/Rx. The unit also acts as a Full Regenerative Repeater while providing 4MB of buffering.
